Your Restoration Fund donations are making a difference

If you’ve booked a show at Hanger Farm recently, you may have chosen to add a contribution to our Restoration Fund. We wanted to show you exactly where that money is going.

Over the past few months, your donations have helped us make some important improvements to the theatre, from new LED lighting to the first replacement seats in our auditorium.

A more comfortable seat

One of our biggest long term projects is renewing the seating in the bleachers.

In July, our Manager Kyle and Technician Matt collected our first new row of seating from Audience Systems. They then got to work removing the old seats and mechanisms and installing their replacements.

The first two rows are now being renewed, giving audiences newer, more comfortable seating while helping us look after the auditorium for years to come.

There’s still plenty more to do. Replacing the full seating system is a significant investment, so we’ll continue renewing seats in stages as funds allow.

And if you want to test the new seats for yourself, keep an eye out for them when you next book!

New LED lighting

You may also have spotted some new lighting around the theatre.

We’ve replaced the wall lighting with new LED fittings, another improvement supported by the Restoration Fund. Alongside giving the space a fresh look, LED lighting is more energy efficient and will help reduce running costs over time.

That means money can go further while we continue investing in the building and the experience we offer everyone who comes through our doors.

Thank you for helping us look after Hanger Farm

None of these improvements would happen without the people who support Hanger Farm.

Alongside the contributions made through ticket bookings, we’ve also been lucky to receive some brilliant support from our community. Bob Phillips donated proceeds from his show in February, while James Prendergast helped raise funds through both his birthday celebrations at Hanger Farm and Lyndhurst Lodge’s Ladies Charity Night at Brockenhurst Masonic Centre, held during his year as President. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us keep the Restoration Fund moving forward.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.

Every donation helps us tackle another part of the building and keep Hanger Farm a comfortable, welcoming place to enjoy great entertainment together.

There’s more still to do, particularly as we continue working towards replacing the remaining auditorium seating, and your support will help us get there.
