among the Pentecostal pines of Oregon, singer-songwriter Rachel Harrington has
six albums lauded by Mojo (“ancient sounding country-noir”), Q (“gothic
Americana”), Utne (“like the young Emmylou Harris”), and many others.
Harrington’s newest record, Cowboy Elegy, out Feb 2026, is an homage to her
late Texas troubadour son, featuring players from Lucinda Williams' band,
Richmond Fontaine, and The Decemberists.

Rachel is singer-songwriter Kora Feder, daughter of renowned California folk
songstress Rita Hosking. NPR says
